Is Johrei Fellowship a religion?

Johrei Fellowship is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organization.  We are a non-profit fellowship, with membership open to all. Our members come from a diverse background. All are joined by a common desire to work together to help create a better world by eliminating the three major causes of humanity's suffering: disease, poverty, and conflict. Johrei Fellowship is a religion, a spiritual practice and a way of life.

What are "spiritual clouds?" Do I have them?

"Spiritual clouds" is a terminology used to describe accumulated negativity.  This negativity is formed by negative thoughts, words and actions, the accumulation of toxins in our physical bodies.  These toxins can also be passed down from one generation to another. These toxins can include certain medicines, chemicals, drugs, impure food and environmental toxins. Most people have "spiritual clouds" that they have accumulated consciously or unconsciously. Johrei enables one to eliminate these clouds more quickly.

What does "Johrei" mean and how does the process work?

Johrei (joh-ray) is Japanese, means " to purify spirit." Through the transfer of Johrei, one is able to help cleanse (purify) the spiritual body (mental, emotional, spiritual, physical) of the recipient, by intensifying or focusing divine light or universal energy on the human body.
